Okay, I nearly forgot about this for a while now, but it appears that my birthday is just a few days from now. It’s on June 18, but it was originally placed as June 5 back home.

In case if anyone is curious, back in where I was from in my world, we had originally used a different calendar system from most of the world which has us behind by 13 days at most. Long story short, the new people ruling over my country had decided to change it to match up with the rest of the world. Since I had no memory of my past by that point, I nearly forgot about the day I was born until some time ago before coming to the Index.

But I have a problem right now: I just don’t know how to celebrate it without anyone else from home. Does anybody here have any suggestion for me to consider?

This is Ren Amamiya and I'm writing out a warning for everyone.

It seems for this story, those who have to play the role of Hyde are either forced to act evil against their will, or in my case, get possessed by my shadow. I didn't get any warning and didn't realize what happened until the scene was over and I got control of my body back.

I don't know if there's anything that can be done to prepare for it, but it seemed better to warn all of you in advance for the other acts coming ahead.

[Dojima's handwriting has... a lot of pressure to it this time. Messier, even if he's trying to keep it as clean as possible.]

A known murderer from my world has come to the Index.

His name is Tohru Adachi- he's an ex-detective, was my junior partner. Currently has the power of a Queen of some kind.

If you see a man looking like these pictures with dark hair and brown eyes and a lanky build, stay as far away as possible. He's dangerous and has killed two women already, caused the kidnapping of several individuals and the hospitalization of ~~Nana-~~ another.

Do not trust what he tells you. Do not go with him. Do not accept whatever he gives with you. Unless you're sure you can take him in a fight- do not engage. He can act harmless and affable but it's ~~an act~~ to hide his true intentions.

I'm sure he doesn't have the 'powers' he used for his murders in Inaba, but that doesn't mean he's any less dangerous. I'm not sure what his powers are here thanks to his essence but it's not worth the risk of the younger folks figuring it out.

[A few days have passed since another story had been restored and a conversation with a certain detective. Without much notice Kazuma had gone home for a few days and returned with a new change to the sender label.]

My memories have finally returned to me. I have Hyde under control, so he shouldn't be a problem anymore. I will eventually compensate for the damage he has done in the past, but for the time being, I'm looking for some assistance.

The tavern is in need of a proper cook. You'll be paid of course, though I would not volunteer if you're not comfortable dealing with a tough crowd.

I'm also looking for someone to teach me how to prepare a kill, so it can be sold to merchants and butcher shops.

I think I went back to my home world. It feels weird to say that, but I definitely remember leaving here, and going back home. I think it was for the best that I did; I was able to help out with something pretty big that happened back in my world.
