fourth entry | to hatch or cook the egg
Sender: Huntsman (Red Riding Hood) | Rokurou Rangetsu
Recipient: Everyone
Looks like we got a lot of cool new things after wrapping up that last story, and I'm still debating what to pick.
But I've been wondering about these eggs. Sure they say they could hatch and be friendly companions, but...
Do you think they would make good omelets?
Okay, okay, I'm kidding, I really wouldn't try to eat one (sorry Kotori—and Eizen, too, I guess)dragon omelet sounds kind of cool though but how would we go about hatching these things, anyway? Anyone got one yet and found out?
Starting to think that maybe boiling the dragon ones might not be such a bad idea...
[Is he serious? Is he not serious? Would he really try to cook the egg? It's Rokurou.]

Though that's another option—raising it and getting it nice and plump for some taste dragon meat.
[He's not helping himself is he.]

But why would you even want that??

But if you fought a giant dragon and cooked it that would be a pretty cool meal.
no subject
But fighting a large adult would be a lot more satisfactory.

I believe it depends on the dragon egg. At least, I don't see a water dragon's eggs hatching similarly to a dragon that might live in more arid or warmer climates.

[These are some sharp scribbles coming from "Kazuma"]

[But.
...
Wait.]
Surprised you'd suggest something like that, though.
[A little. On the one hand he could see Kazuma suggesting something practical, but it's the second half that reads a little weird. Would he really say (or write) something like "heck"...?]

Usually with eggs, the parent would sit on them to hatch them. I can't say much about dragon eggs, though I imagine it wouldn't be too different.

From what I know about all the stories dragons take heat to hatch, so you might be on to something about the boiling. Maybe... stick it near or in the fireplace?

But from what I'm hearing from the rest, making some kind of nest by the fireplace might be the best bet. Good thing I'm not too bothered by temperatures or this would suck since it looks like we're hitting the summer season.
