This is Ren Amamiya and I'm writing out a warning for everyone.

It seems for this story, those who have to play the role of Hyde are either forced to act evil against their will, or in my case, get possessed by my shadow. I didn't get any warning and didn't realize what happened until the scene was over and I got control of my body back.

I don't know if there's anything that can be done to prepare for it, but it seemed better to warn all of you in advance for the other acts coming ahead.

WARNING TO ALL ASPECTS:

[Dojima's handwriting has... a lot of pressure to it this time. Messier, even if he's trying to keep it as clean as possible.]

A known murderer from my world has come to the Index.

His name is Tohru Adachi- he's an ex-detective, was my junior partner. Currently has the power of a Queen of some kind.

If you see a man looking like these pictures with dark hair and brown eyes and a lanky build, stay as far away as possible. He's dangerous and has killed two women already, caused the kidnapping of several individuals and the hospitalization of ~~Nana-~~ another.

Do not trust what he tells you. Do not go with him. Do not accept whatever he gives with you. Unless you're sure you can take him in a fight- do not engage. He can act harmless and affable but it's ~~an act~~ to hide his true intentions.

I'm sure he doesn't have the 'powers' he used for his murders in Inaba, but that doesn't mean he's any less dangerous. I'm not sure what his powers are here thanks to his essence but it's not worth the risk of the younger folks figuring it out.

Looks like you guys had some fun while I was gone, but even after hunting down a few daemons back in my world, nothing beats the enemies that pop around this place.

Which brings me to the main point of this: anyone interested in taking down that two-headed troll?

[Insert dumb, very ugly scribble of said troll.]

Tried to take it down on my own, but that thing is a lot tougher than it looks. Even I have to admit that I'm not strong enough as I am right now. [Combination of troll being a big high level boss and the fact that he has to work with his Aspect skills and unable to utilize all of his usual artes.] Not sure if anyone could take it down on their own, but I'd sure as hell like to watch and fight whoever does.

I'll be taking another go at it to figure out more of its weaknesses, but I won't deny anyone who wants to take a crack it themselves with me. I'm less interested in the money, so we can figure out how to split the rewards later.

I'll also be working on the other hunts, so if anyone needs help with those, I'll gladly lend my sword.

WHETHER IT BE LAYING PROSTRATE ACROSS THESE PAGES WITH DESPERATE WORDS PLEADING FOR GUIDANCE OR BECAUSE A SCENE DICTATES IT TO BE SO IN ORDER TO FIX WHATEVER STORY WE'RE STUCK FIXING, THE LACK OF BASIC KNOWLEDGE ON THIS AREA IS HONESTLY PRETTY ASTOUNDING, GIVEN THAT THE ENTIRE REASON FOR OUR BEING HERE IS TO FIX *STORIES*.
YOU KNOW, THE THINGS YOU READ AND HAVE PREDICTABLE PLOT LINES AND END IN EITHER DEATH, MUTILATION, OR POSSIBLY THE FULFILLMENT OF ONE'S HOPES AND DREAMS IN ORDER TO FULFILL A READER'S OWN LACK OF FULFILLMENT IN THEIR OWN SAD EXISTENCE?
I'M TALKING, OF COURSE, ABOUT ROMANCE.
ROMANCE IS *FUNDAMENTAL* TO THESE KINDS OF STORIES, AND YET SO MANY OF YOU IDIOTS CAN'T SEEM TO GRASP THE BASIC CONCEPT OF ASKING SOMEONE OUT ON A DATE OR EVEN SORTING OUT YOUR OWN FEELINGS ON THE MATTER.
IT'S PRETTY FUCKING EMBARRASSING AND IT MAKES ME WONDER HOW THE FUCK YOUR SPECIES HAS EVEN EVOLVED PAST THE PRIMORDIAL SLIME STAGE TO MAKE IT THIS FAR.

Looks like we got a lot of cool new things after wrapping up that last story, and I'm still debating what to pick.

But I've been wondering about these eggs. Sure they say they could hatch and be friendly companions, but...

Do you think they would make good omelets?

Okay, okay, I'm kidding, I really wouldn't try to eat one (sorry Kotori—and Eizen, too, I guess) ~~dragon omelet sounds kind of cool though~~ but how would we go about hatching these things, anyway? Anyone got one yet and found out?

[If you noticed Dojima’s handwriting before, it could be a bit chicken scratch- not from a lack of penmanship, but simply because his work had him writing up a lot of reports, and you had to do it quickly. This time however, his handwriting is noticeably neater and careful, trying to make sure no one can misread the information.]

Notice to All Aspects.

Within the recent months, a scam artist has been making the rounds in the Index, going after both locals and Aspects alike.

Based on description, the culprit is likely a Dwarf, who’s hair varies in colour, possibly dying it or using magic to change it.

If you or anyone you know has been involved in some sort of scam, please let either me or Eustace know; we’re currently involved in the investigation. Information on what the scam entitled, the date it occurred, the scammer's appearance, and location would be a great benefit.

[The handwriting then switches to something a little cleaner and not necessarily elegant, but neat.]

There are suspicions that there may be multiple individuals, making it a crime ring. If you think you found one, don't do anything stupid. There haven't been reports of any violent exchanges, but we don't need this to become more complicated than necessary.

However, if you do manage to capture one, bring them to the nearest law enforcement.
