This is Ren Amamiya and I'm writing out a warning for everyone.

It seems for this story, those who have to play the role of Hyde are either forced to act evil against their will, or in my case, get possessed by my shadow. I didn't get any warning and didn't realize what happened until the scene was over and I got control of my body back.

I don't know if there's anything that can be done to prepare for it, but it seemed better to warn all of you in advance for the other acts coming ahead.

I had to face him twice before. Being possessed is new but... still.

Just sucks I can't seem to keep control, I guess. I know it's nothing I did but it totally feels that way anyway.

If that were true, then it's my own fault that I let my shadow take over too. At least our shadows can't possess us again.

I miss Satanael too, but at least our personas are still with us, even if we can't hear or summon them.

Sorry, was just frustrated. Coincidentally, it's some dude named Hyde. I never met the guy but he's not all that different from the Hyde in the story from what Dojima-san told me. It was like, the first time he told me because he didn't want me messing with the guy and like... Dojima-san is scary as shit sometimes and I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a bad influence on partner but if he's warning me away then like...

Yeah. If you encounter another Hyde from outside this story, probably best to keep your distance.

I mean... he probably wanted to. I got us accidentally arrested so... not a good first impression! But like, partner just sorta does what he wants and I don't think Dojima-san was going to push that hard unless he really felt like partner was in danger. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure he would have put a stop things as soon as Kanji came on board considering the dude had a major bad rep.

Not that Kanji was like that at all! Guy could beat me up, sure, but he's actually a pretty cool dude. :)

Why would he do that? Someone saw me waving weapons around but then they saw that they were fake so like. No charges except being totally embarrassed. And it was totally my fault, he was just guilty by association.

He did, yeah! A nose ring and a brow piercing too. He's cleaned up since though because he's trying to prepare for taking over his mom's textile store. Not gonna lie, Kanji with black hair and glasses is still weird.

Even so, you and Narukami-san are seriously lucky. Who knows what a dirty cop would have done with you two.

Neat. My best friend bleaches his hair too, though not piercings. He fights with things like a metal pipe or anything you can smack things with, and a shotgun.

It was the one where Jekyll was having a conversation with Mr. Utterson when there was news of an attack, and I had to tend to a poor little girl who got crushed by a horse carriage.

I had to get help from "Mr. Utterson". I only know a little first-aid and I couldn't get her to stop crying.
