This is Ren Amamiya and I'm writing out a warning for everyone.

It seems for this story, those who have to play the role of Hyde are either forced to act evil against their will, or in my case, get possessed by my shadow. I didn't get any warning and didn't realize what happened until the scene was over and I got control of my body back.

I don't know if there's anything that can be done to prepare for it, but it seemed better to warn all of you in advance for the other acts coming ahead.

I say this as someone who was dragged into the police station later on and threatened by him when I got a letter telling me to stop being on the case.

But I understand if he comes out look rough...I have a friend, Kanji who would beat up biker gangs barehanded because they made so much noise his mother couldn't sleep. My uncle knew about that and he didn't tell me to stop being friends with him either. I think he's one of those detectives that looks at the bigger picture when it's presented to him.

Hamamura-san did mention him, but not the full details. My best friend Ryuji also has bleached hair and doesn't wear his uniform properly, and he can be loud. But he's a great guy and someone you can count on. So it's not a problem with me.

That's fine. Sojiro Sakura was the owner of Leblanc Coffee and Curry and was my guardian when I was staying in Tokyo. Futaba is his adopted daughter and our team hacker and navigator.

I think Hanamura-san mentioned Naoto Shirogane before. I vaguely heard about the original Detective Prince and her work in the news, but that's about it.

Sakura-san and I aren't related. He happened to be friends with my parents and agreed to look after me.

[Mainly because he was getting paid by Ren's parents to do so.

Thankfully Yosuke already told him so he doesn't go all Risette fanboy on Yu.]

Yeah Risette is still hugely popular. She released an album last year I believe. I heard rumors that she might move onto acting, but I don't know if that's true.

That's very nice of him.

It would make sense...there was a possibility of being offered an acting job before coming to Inaba. I've spoken with her manager a few times, especially when she started getting back to being an idol.

I do recall hearing about her going on hiatus while I was in middle school. Although wasn't that hiatus around the time of the Inaba Serial Murder Case?
