Looks like we got a lot of cool new things after wrapping up that last story, and I'm still debating what to pick.

But I've been wondering about these eggs. Sure they say they could hatch and be friendly companions, but...

Do you think they would make good omelets?



Okay, okay, I'm kidding, I really wouldn't try to eat one (sorry Kotori—and Eizen, too, I guess) dragon omelet sounds kind of cool though but how would we go about hatching these things, anyway? Anyone got one yet and found out?

Starting to think that maybe boiling the dragon ones might not be such a bad idea...

...Yeeeeah I guess that's fair. Even I would feel bad for killing it off if it's already developed enough.

But what if it hasn't?

I... guess it'd depend? I'm not sure, there's got to be a way to tell, right?!

I think there is — think you can hold up a candle or a light up to an egg and be able to tell if there's anything more solid inside. Might depend on the thickness of the shell though.

[No one should be that impressed by his knowledge—even if he did somehow learn about this kind of technique in his travels...Huntsman Essence. Kind of has a knowledge cheat for this kind of thing.]

Oh huh, that should work. (You're right about the shell, though, I've read that ostrich eggs have REALLY tough shells.) How big is your egg? And is the shell hard or leathery?

I haven't bought it yet so don't know. If it's anything like the ones back in the story, though, then it's pretty pretty tough.

That's true.

(That's another reason why I can't eat a dragon egg: I don't think I could look Wembley-kun in the face if I ate one after we worked so hard protecting them in the story. T-T)

[It's a miracle the Fraggles haven't turned her wholly vegetarian yet. ..... Okay not a HUGE miracle, girl loves food too much to make THAT big a change to her diet.]

I'd just think it no different than any other livestock kind of animal. Been around plenty of cows, but all I can think of is, "Thanks for making great steak!"

Oh, sorry! Wembley-kun's one of the Fraggles, and yes, he's a he. Have you met Gobo-kun yet? He's been here a lot longer, since last autumn.

Hm, nope they don't really ring any bells. What are Fraggles?

Oh, you haven't seen them yet? Uh well... they're about the size of a cat or a small dog, and they're covered in VERY bright fur: Gobo-kun is orange and hot pink, while Wembley-kun is a VERY bright yellow-green!

[Actually, you know what, she's going to include a little doodle of one for reference, complete with furriness and long tails and cute smiles and only wearing shirts. The drawing skill itself is a bit simple but still neat.]
