Looks like we got a lot of cool new things after wrapping up that last story, and I'm still debating what to pick.
But I've been wondering about these eggs. Sure they say they could hatch and be friendly companions, but...
Do you think they would make good omelets?
Okay, okay, I'm kidding, I really wouldn't try to eat one (sorry Kotori—and Eizen, too, I guess)dragon omelet sounds kind of cool though but how would we go about hatching these things, anyway? Anyone got one yet and found out?
Starting to think that maybe boiling the dragon ones might not be such a bad idea...
[Is he serious? Is he not serious? Would he really try to cook the egg? It's Rokurou.]

But you'd think a dragon egg would be tough enough to deal with accidental dragon breath, right?

[ Not that he's...ever had any of his own, but some things are just intuitive. ]
Sure, but it also depends on the dragon. If the dragon's related to fire, it makes sense for a dragon egg to be able to withstand heat. But not so much for a water dragon or an earth dragon.

[HE HAS NO IDEA HE'S TALKING TO A BIRD DESPITE THE ID NAME IT'S A LOGICAL GUESS....]
Guess that makes sense. Though now that I'm thinking about it, how would you deal with a wind dragon? The other three are pretty obvious, but wind? Keep it breezy?

[ He leaves it at that, because he doesn't really want to explain
darn this quirk. ]Well, I can't exactly say for certain. But I'd imagine that there still needs to be some warmth provided for the egg for it to hatch at all. Just perhaps not as much warmth needed as it would be for a fire dragon, or even an earth dragon.

Warm breezes, maybe... Well, not that it matters, haha.
I've noted down what you've said, so thanks for that, but I won't lie. Still tempted to try and pop it in the oven.
