I know this place is....different. I get that. And I know some of you have been here longer. Way longer than me. But....that doesn't make this any easier? Missing things like Christmas or New Years. Back home I'd celebrate with mum. With my new step-dad. With my girlfriend and the others. I might even miss my sister being born, being here. Or, however this works. I don't know. But...how do the rest of you deal with it? I guess it's kinda more of a sore spot for me since back home Hera erased my memory and sent me off to the other Camp and all, so I've dealt with everyone freaking out over me and me missing things for months.

Spoilers. It sucks. Would not recommend. At all.

Just. This time of year is the hardest I guess. Being without them.

[He'll probably regret admitting this stuff in the morning, but. Well. Percy can't really hide this. His emotions have always been obvious. And as quick to shift from being calm to raging and furious at the drop of a hat. Probably part and parcel of being related to Poseidon and all.]

I'm sorry... I know you still miss them here, but if it helps, when I went home a few months ago, I came back to the second I left, so I didn't miss any time or have anyone panic.

I guess that kinda helps a little. That they don't worry and miss us. I already freaked everyone out that time Hera messed with my memory and I went off to the other Camp. I'd really rather not have everyone worrying again like that.

[Yeah.....Hera and the demigods tended to have something of a mutual dislike at best. And it was kind of a long story with Hera's plan and all, but still. Percy was still bitter about it all in how, more than his own confusion during that time of only remembering his name and Annabeth, that he put everyone else through that with him disappearing.]

Ah, well... there's Della Duck, and possibly her uncle Scrooge McDuck. But they're from a world of animal people, so the names might be a little different, like she calls Hercules Storkules.

Yeah. I'm just....so used to either being at Camp or with my mum and step dad. It's weird. Not having any of them around, is all. Especially this time of year.
