For those who had to play the role of the opposite gender, did you transform too or just cross-dress?

Because for some reason, I got turned into a girl when I had to play Clarabelle in a scene.

I don't believe so? I haven't played a woman before as far as I'm aware, but I recently did a scene with someone who had to crossdress for the part.

Huh that's strange. Either it's just me or it's only sometimes.

[It being due to his essence would make a lot of sense, but he wanted to hear what others said first before coming to that conclusion.]
